You go up 2 steps to two bedrooms - 1 double, with 5ft bed and one single with extra pull-out bed, both 2'6' and shower room with electic shower, toilet and basin. From the Kitchen up the timber stairs to a delightful little sitting room with comfy seating and views out across the woodland garden. In beautiful South Hams in the West Country.

The historic naval port of Dartmouth, is 3 miles away and is well worth visiting with an excellent variety of individual shops, bistros and the famous Michelin stared restaurant, The New Angel, as featured in the Channel 4 programme, 'The Return of the Chef' with John Burton Race. There are many river trips running up the beautiful estuary of the River Dart, stopping off at places such as Dittisham, and Totnes also, Agatha Christies family home, Greenway. Dartmouth Regatta and Music Festival.

The Old Stables is a perfect base to visit the annual events in Dartmouth such as the Music Festival Weekend which is 12th-14th May 2006. This popular musical extravaganza is a three-day celebration of all kinds of music, an eclectic mix with something for everyone. Performances take place all over Dartmouth from morning until late, spilling onto the charming streets, alleys and quays of our historic town. Also the 161st Regatta will take place on 24th 25th and 26th August. The harbour is full of ships and sailing boats and there are many races taking place all week, together with many other interesting events. The Red Arrows visit, usually on a Wednesdaay and there are grand firework displays on Wednesday and Saturday Night.
