A lovely property with a great patio with sun loungers for sunny days and an covered area for rainy days. Peace and quiet and amazing views of the countryside. Everything you need is there for you and a fantastic welcome basket. In 15 years of holidaying in the uk, this is by far the best place I have stayed,( I didnt want to leave). I would recommend this property to everyone. I shall definately be back. Many thanks for a great stay. Read more

5 Janette, Cardiff City / Cardiff, date of stay: July 2024. Rated this Owl Barn:

Just back from a wonderful stay at Owl Barn. Beautiful rural location close to some pretty market towns. The barn itself was stunning and the owners have obviously gone above and beyond with both design and ambience! We all absolutely loved it and are already planning our return visit, maybe in winter to make use of the huge wood burner! Read more

5 Pat, Daventy, date of stay: June 2024. Rated this Lavenders:

Its location - walking distance to the beach & Norfolk coastal path. The bungalow is in a secluded setting - not overlooked. When you can hear the golfers strike their ball then you know you will have peace & quiet. Ducks, rabbits & a muntjac deer add to the seclusion. Read more

Beautiful Cottage situated in the grounds of a Historic Manor House Scott's Cottage a Thatched Barn Conversion that won an Award in 2012 by the owners, Please note you need to go through the gate to reach PO30 2PW when your sat nav says you have reached your destination. What is lovely about the cottage is that it does not have electric meters for your pound coins. It does not charge between ?20/30 dog charges and It does not charge an end of stay cleaning fee. We did not ask about breakage fees for beautiful vases on show. We packed them away for safety. The beautiful toilet items made our stay very enjoyable. Read more

5 Hans, Nr Bridgwater, date of stay: March 2024. Rated this :

Getting to Somers Hiscott was interesting via the narrow lanes so reading the instructions supplied carefully you will eventually find it. The house itself was very impressive and inside was immaculate. The kitchen was very well equipped with all that you would probably need. The dining area was big enough to accommodate everyone even though the chairs seemed to be a bit low to the table. All the bedrooms were immaculate and the beds arranged as requested even had soap and towels provided. The house is quite isolated so you had to make your own entertainment or had to drive to Westward Ho or Bideford for things to do. Read more

We booked this house for a family reunion over the Easter holidays. The space & layout of this house was perfect for our party of 3 couples & 4 children. There was so much space in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped for our catering needs. We cooked every day & all the equipment was clean & of good quality. Even the ovens sparkled!! The utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer were very useful. Everyone remarked on how comfortable the beds were & the bathrooms/ showers all worked well. The hot tub was clean & very enjoyable with very clear instructions on its use. Read more

5 Richard, Milton Keynes, date of stay: February 2024. Rated this Stable Cottage:

Stable Cottage is so peaceful - the calm and quiet is so welcoming - with absolutely no sounds heard at night! There is so much to do, both in the cottage and in the surrounding area. The swimming pool and games room really helped us to detox from mobile devices! And right on the doorstep is wonderful walking, running and cycling. The local towns are great for a visit, and we found the restaurants to be high quality and good value for money. We love the owners and their family - so welcoming and friendly. Read more

5 Will, Durham / County Durham, date of stay: February 2024. Rated this Emma's Dairy - With Indoor Pool, Sports Area & Under 5yrs play area included:

Very comfortable cottage, with excellent on site facilities. The indoor pool was lovely, along with the play area and sports court. There was plenty of space in the cottage and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, that had everything you needed for a family staying away. Pet friendly too, which was great, with lots of walks, which was very nice for us all to be together. We visited Hawkstone Follies which is also Pet friendly and was a lovely day out. The owners were very helpful with ideas of days out and places to eat. Read more

5 Charlotte, London, date of stay: December 2023. Rated this Tudor Barn:

The BEST time at the Tudor Barn Myself and a group of friends stayed at the Tudor Barn just before Christmas and we were blown away! Juliet was so accommodating and we enjoyed so many of the facilities; we cycled into Lavenham on one day on the bikes provided, did wine tasting in the Shepherd's Hut and had fun dressing up in the Tudor costumes. We enjoyed local food and sat in front of the open fire every evening in the Tudor Barn. The accommodation was very comfortable and we really appreciated the under floor heating. The kitchen is very large with everything you could possibly need. We had the best time and can't wait to come back! Read more
