Pine Lodge is an extensive and unusual self-catering property on the edge of village of Tetbury in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Holme Street House (sleeps 8-10) is a picturesque Grade 2 listed Georgian farmhouse, set in 10 acres of land. It is well equipped and beautifully furnished, having been our family home.

The house is well stocked with family games and toys, and a large and varied selection of books for our visitors' use. It is peaceful and secluded, with views to the front over its own pastureland, and to the side and rear over delightful gardens.

The tended gardens are a particular feature of the property, and extend to over 2 acres. They contain lawns, several different sitting areas, herb and vegetable gardens, orchard, Wendyhouse, and outdoor heated swimming pool (May - Sept approx) and changing room area. The pool is in its own separate walled area which can be closed off for safety. The field, sometimes grazed by sheep, can be walked in and leads to a small lake.

The village of Pulborough is a 15 minute walk along the lane or through the field, and has excellent local shops. There are also 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute drive.

The house is spacious and comfortable, with many original features. The large entrance hall and kitchen/breakfast room have original York stone flooring. The farmhouse-style kitchen is very well equipped, with AGA, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, sitting area with rocking chair, CD/radio and breakfast table. The sitting room is tranquil, with an open fire (logs provided), baby grand piano, CD/tape/radio and french door to garden. The dining room is a beautiful beamed room with seating for 12 around the large oak dining table. The family room is light and airy with wood floor, comfortable chairs, TV/video/DVD player, sturdy full sized football table, woodburning stove (logs provided) and double sofa bed. It also has french doors to the patio area, which contains a table and seating, and catches the setting sun beautifully.

Downstairs there is also a walk in larder, and a cloakroom. Please note: due to age the stone floors are somewhat uneven, and the washing machine is in the cellar down stone steps, which are reached through a door in the hallway.

Upstairs, there are four good sized bedrooms, all with lovely views over the gardens. all very comfortably furnished. Two of the rooms have double beds, one with ensuite bathroom with WC, basin, bidet and bath with shower over. There are lovely views across the field from the bath! The other double room has a wash basin. The two twin rooms both have zip and link twin beds, which can be zipped together to make 6 foot doubles. One of these rooms also has a wash basin. There is a further bathroom with bath with power shower over, WC and basin. There is a travel cot available free of charge, and a full sized cot available for a further £20. All the rooms are big enough to take a cot and/or travel cot.

The Dairy near Chesil Beach in Dorset

The Fleet Lagoon and Chesil Beach are about a mile distant. Tthe area around the village is particularly popular with walkers. Weymouth, Dorchester, Abbotsbury and Bridport are all only a short drive away. Further afield lie Corfe Castle, Poole, Blandford Forum, Lyme Regis and Bournemouth.

A truly lovely spacious 5 bedroom family house overlooking a reservoir in the Forest of Bowland in the north of England.

This stone house was originally built some 200 years ago and has been beautifully renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Be it walking, fishing, cycling, shooting or ultimate relaxation this house offers it all. Fly fishing is available by daily/weekly permit some 10 - 15 paces from the door.

Wild birds including Grebes, Oyster Catchers, the renowned Hen Harrier and Canada Geese have all made their homes on the waters surrounding the property. Deer, pheasants and garden birds abound.

For children there are endless fantastic days out including animal parks, theme parks and museums. We are lucky to have many National Trust properties including Dunster Castle nearby. Within an hour's drive it is also possible to visit Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge and Exeter.
