Outdoor activities are plentiful in the Wye Valley and it is almost inevitable that even if you drive to places to visit, you will still end up walking a considerable distance.

The good aspect of self-catering and your own holiday cottage to call ‘home’ is that all facilities are available to you personally, as and when you want them, so that even if you return muddied up to the eyeballs from Symonds Yat, you can have a shower at any time of day. Or, if you like to recover and stay home for a day between days out, you could sit and read in a sunny cottage garden or just curl up with a book on the sofa.
