In the heart of Northamptonshire is the village of Pitsford, home to less than one thousand residents and perfect for a quiet and relaxing break in this part of England. Pitsford Water is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a great place for going on long walks, for fishing and for sailing as the Northampton Sailing Club is located here. It is also next to the Brixworth Country Park which has a cycle hire shop for those wishing to go cycling in the vicinity or along the reservoir. There is also a restaurant and children’s play area for if you are visiting Pitsford with the kids.

Pitsford is just 5 miles or a 15 minute drive from the county town of Northampton for if you wish to see a different side to Northamptonshire.
