The village of Wilmcote is located in the county of Warwickshire in English and is a peaceful and charming place to reside in when wishing to explore this area with friends and family. There is a wonderful sense of community here, as the settlement has a great social centre with a village club and a village hall. There is also a church, a convenience store and a friendly pub, as well as the main draw to Wilmcote, Mary Arden’s Farm. Mary Arden was Shakespeare’s mother and a visit to her former place of residence is a must if you have an interest in the life of the Bard. Located three miles from Stratford-upon-Avon where Shakespeare was born, this incredible farm house dates back to the 16th century and is in wonderful condition, having been refurnished in a traditional Tudor style.
