The village of Yardley Hastings is located in the county of Northamptonshire in England and is a lovely and historical place in which to rent a self-catering cottage for a holiday in this part of the country. There are many buildings of interest in Yardley Hastings including the 13th century church of St Andrew, a 14th century manor house and an old rectory which dates from 1701, and if you are interested in ancient architecture then these should all be visited when staying in the village as they are fascinating to see. With a couple of pubs, shops and restaurants including the Rose and Crown Bistro, Yardley Hastings is simply fantastic for a relaxing holiday in a quiet part of Northamptonshire, and you can also visit other parts for the day such as the county town of Northampton, just 8 miles away.
