Charming, former farm cottages are now comfortable and welcoming pet-friendly holiday homes. Some are thatched and picture book perfect. There are also groups of the latest pine lodges that feel as good as they appear and make for cosy accommodation for people and dogs.
Tisbury on the River Nadder is a delightful village to visit or stay in. The small river flows past typical English rural scenery, where cows graze in the meadows and skylarks soar overhead. It was once voted the second best rural place to live. Lots of walks, including local circular walks can be enjoyed without driving anywhere and it has a railway station.
