The Property: About Thirlmere Holiday Chalet, Lake District National Park

Enjoy a dreamy holiday alongside beautiful Lake Windermere, within the stunning Lake District National Park, a wonderland for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. This pet-friendly 3 bedroom holiday lodge has a lovely open plan living space with lounge area, kitchen and dining area, family bathroom and three bedrooms (one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two twin bedrooms). This holiday lodge sleeps up to 6 and up to 2 pet dogs are welcome. Set within White Cross Bay there are excellent shared facilities on offer here including an on-site indoor pool, an outdoor play park for children and a bar with live entertainment during summer time.

Let the beauty of the area inspire you as it did Beatrix Potter whose life and work is celebrated nearby. Attractions include the World of Beatrix Potter as well as Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter. William Wordsworth also lived nearby firstly at Rydal Mount in Ambleside and then Allan Bank in Grasmere. Enjoy painter/philosopher John Ruskin's woodland garden at Brantwood, Coniston and the lake of the same name nearby. Pull on walking boots and stroll amongst the fells around Grasmere or take to wheels for the challenge of the trails of Grizedale Forest. Return home to soak overstretched muscles in the private hot tub, under a star lit sky, prior to enjoying a relaxing nightcap.This is a lovely log cabin with a fabulous setting located close to the heart of the Lake District National Park.
