Sleeping up to 8 people in 4 glorious bedrooms, the cottage is the perfect place to host a family reunion, as you can all enjoy some precious time together while discovering the beautiful Peak District.

The cottage's four bedrooms are spread out over two floors and feature antique beds, adding plenty of character to this beautiful building. The cottage also features exposed beams, stone floor and vaulted ceilings, all of which give it a real homely feeling. The open plan living area will allow you all to spend lots of time together, as you can prepare some delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen and then chat around the provided dining table while eating. After dinner you can then all head into the spacious sitting room and enjoy the heat that comes out of the large wood burning stove. When the weather is warmer be sure to take advantage of the stunning patio area outside complete with furniture where you can relax, lay back and enjoy the surrounding views of the countryside.

Good strong boots are a must when staying in this wonderful cottage, as there is so much to explore right outside the front door. Head into Youlgreave if you need to pick up anything small or drive down to the town of Bakewell if you want to do a bigger shop. A visit to the Peak District National Park is of course a necessity when staying in this part of England while the kids are sure to want to spent at least a day in the fantastic Alton Towers theme park, which is just a short drive away. Whatever activities you get up to while staying in Derbyshire, you are guaranteed to love being able to return to your very own country cottage for an evening spent with those dearest to you.
