Milford
A cottage holiday in Milford, on the River Derwent in Derbyshire, offers a potentially magical experience. Just a seemingly ordinary Derbyshire village, north of Derby can prove to be the best place for a romantic break. The river arches around the town which should please Aquarians. A good spot to view it during your holiday is at Hopping Mill Weir where visitors come to watch the cascading waters, or from the terrace of Mill House where you can enjoy a meal and pint whilst watching torrents of water flash past. Whilst there, book a table at Angelo’s New Inn, high up over the river and add Itialianate glamour to an evening of your holiday in Milford.
