Beautiful Pet-friendly Romantic Farmstay Cottage in North Devon

Inside this Romantic Retreat near Bideford

•    A large vaulted open plan living area is the ideal place to relax and unwind; at one end of this room is a smart fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, washer/dryer in addition to the essential domestic appliances.   A dining table with four chairs in the centre of the room is where you would eat breakfast and any other meals that you choose to cook yourself. There is a microwave to reheat takeaways or frozen dinners. It is always tempting to treat yourself with meals out on holiday and why not? The aim of a holiday is to have a good time – a complete break from everyday life. You will find some excellent eateries in Biddeford where you will be able to do just that. Two plush sofas stand in front of a log burner at the opposite end of the room. Sit or recline to watch television, there are two sofas so that you can have one each.

•    The barn conversion theme is continued in the romantic bedroom. Multiple beams crisscross the ceiling. The bed can be either super king or twin beds, as you prefer. Two wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a dressing table complete this room.
 
•    Relax with a Jacuzzi bath before bed. The half-timbered bathroom contains a four-piece suite. A separate shower cubicle can be useful when trying to wash the sand out of your hair after a day sunbathing on the beach.

A starter basket of logs is supplied for the woodburner, more can be purchased. This self-catering barn also has electric central heating for a cosy atmosphere.

A most welcome feature of a stay at Pillhead Farm is the communal outdoor heated swimming pool. How lovely to go for a swim before bed time.  There is also a toddler paddling pool in the grounds, so please be aware that the facilities are shared with other guests. You may also wish to have a barbecue at some point and enjoy your own home-cooked sausages and burgers.

There is parking beside the holiday cottages which will make the going easy. Come and pamper yourself in this lovely part of Devon.

Explore the North Devon Coast on Holiday

The north Devon coastline would be yours to explore. Enjoy a day out at Greysands Beach which is backed by enormous boulders, walk along Westward Ho! Beach and explore the country park. This accommodation is pet-friendly and the area would be superb for a holiday accompanied by your dog.  Take the opportunity to visit RHS Garden Rosemoor whilst in the area or pop over to Exmoor. Everyone loves Devon, its beaches and attractions.
