When you enter the inviting atmosphere of Tamar Barn, you’re welcomed into the cosy sitting room, offering two comfy sofas perfect for an afternoon spent reading your holiday read or catching up with your favourite film on the DVD player. The wood burner keeps the room toasty warm whatever the weather, so it’s always a pleasure spending a day relaxing here! The kitchen area is also a treat with its skylight and contemporary white furnishings, complementing a stone wall. It’s the ideal place to make a family favourite recipe, kitted out with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and a dishwasher so you’ll have all you could need to enjoy a yummy meal around the dining table.

As you explore more of Tamar Barn, head up the striking spiral staircase and take a look around the two lovely bedrooms. The king-sized room offers an idyllic retreat to the land of sleep, with a lavish bed and a stunning floor-to-ceiling window looking out over a gorgeous view of the trees. There’s even access to the rear patio, so you can step outside after waking up to soak up the glistening morning sunshine and feel at one with nature. The twin room is another beautiful space, with the gorgeous stone wall shining under the sunshine from the skylight and window overlooking countryside views. It’s a beautiful space that will certainly tempt you into that morning lie-in! The two bathrooms are also lovely and convenient additions.  The ground floor bathroom offers facilities for a soothing, bubbly bath while the upstairs bathroom has a refreshing shower.
 

Outside, enjoy access to the rear garden, which provides a lovely space for all. Children can spend a bright afternoon playing in the garden, giving them the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun and fresh air. The garden is great for pet dogs too!  There’s also a hot tub which anyone looking for a bit of pampering will love! Don’t forget to take advantage of the barbecue; a summer’s night wouldn’t be complete without one!
 

There are plenty of wonderful experiences on offer at Tamar Barn, which provides access to an array of fantastic places to explore whether you’re more interested in unspoilt areas of nature or walks around charming towns. The Tamar Valley AONB is a fantastic natural area, an Area of Outstanding National Beauty that offers an array of walks and cycles whatever your ability. You can even have a go at archery for a proper adventure! There’s a railway station linking the valley and Plymouth, so if you’re looking to explore a bustling city, Plymouth is the perfect place to go with its stunning lighthouse, boat trips, aquarium, and plenty of unique shops. Closer to your home from home, explore the markets of Gulworthy and Tavistock. Whatever you’re looking for, Tamar Barn offers all you could want for a relaxing holiday away!
