Don’t forget to enjoy a few laps in the gorgeous pool – it is the property's namesake, after all!

Two well-behaved pets are also welcome at The Pool House, so it’s the perfect retreat for the whole family to enjoy together.

Inside this 3 Bedroom and 3 Bathroom Holiday Home near Harpenden

The Pool House is thoughtfully designed to provide the best stay possible, offering several lovely arrangements across the rooms. Enter the house into the stylish kitchen, a spacious arrangement with an array of storage and all the equipment you need to whip up the perfect meal on your holiday away. There’s an electric range oven, hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher to try out as you make a lovely family meal for everyone to enjoy together.

Step into the beautiful living and sitting room, stylishly curated with modern furniture and comfy seats perfect to curl up in and enjoy. Stretch out on one of the cosy sofas in front of the statement fireplace and catch up with your favourite shows on the smart TV. Or, choose a space to sit outside, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the courtyard and the convenient outdoor furniture. Enjoy a favourite snack or a glass of bubbly as you watch the sun go down and stars start to rise in clear skies before you head off to bed.

Upstairs, choose from three bedrooms, all offering their own unique characters and arrangements, perfect for any group. The first bedroom is a luxurious master bedroom, with a lavish double bed as well as a refreshing en-suite bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Whether you want to enjoy a soothing soak in the bath or cool off in the shower, it could be the perfect bedroom to pick! There is also another comfy double room, offering a jack-and-jill shower room. The final room offers a cosy single bed with a pull-out trundle bed for extra space, as well as access to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

Outside is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture where you can dine alfresco and soak up the setting. The property is on a farm so you can enjoy the rural setting.

Situated on a rural farm, The Pool House is the perfect space to explore nature on your holiday as well as all the surrounding attractions in the area. Whitwell is nearby and is a quaint market town, offering plenty to enjoy from the market itself to the picture-perfect strolls around the streets as you wander past the 18th century houses and convenient village shops. Visit the National Trust's Shaws Corner on a day out and visit Old Welwyn to walk around the historic streets. You’re also near to the Chiltern Hills, a stunning area of countryside and an AONB with plenty of scenic walks to enjoy. Or, Hitchin is a lively town with an exciting museum and plenty of little shops to explore. Harpenden too is close by and home to a good selection of cafes and shops. With a pool on site you may just be happy to chill out at your home from home. If you do want to explore, there is plenty to enjoy and discover in Hertfordshire.
