The Piggery is one of seven beautiful holiday cottages, at Upper Rectory Farm cottages.  This is the perfect base for a rural retreat break, placed amongst the picturesque rolling cornfields. Have lunch outside in the lovely lawned area with the garden furniture provided, so you can enjoy bright skies and fields as far as you can see.   The country views here are truly something to marvel at.

Of course, there’s plenty to do elsewhere, as you’ll be right in the centre of an array of attractions and experiences to make this holiday a memorable one.   The charming market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch with its independent shops, and choice of eateries if less than 7 miles away.   If you’re one for natural sights, then a hike along Ashby Canal will be a stunning afternoon, and the National Forest has multiple trails to explore. Or, head off on a shopping trip; Birmingham is just an hour away, or Nottingham is not too far either! A family day out to Calke Abbey or Lichfield cathedral are other fantastic suggestions. Whatever you like to do, there will be plenty of unbeatable opportunities to enjoy from The Piggery!
