One of a row of courtyard cottages set on family run Lower Wood Farm, a stay here gives you the opportunity to enjoy so much more than the cottage alone.

The holiday cottages at Lower Wood Farm are set next to 5 acres of fields and gardens waiting for you to explore, plus there are plenty of activities both inside and out for all of the family.

Inside this 3 Bedroom Rural Retreat by the Norfolk Broads

All of the accommodation is on the ground floor at Russet Cottage and comprises:

•    A sociable open plan living area with comfy lounge area, well equipped kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and dining area,

•    A double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed and wall mounted TV,

•    Two single bedrooms,

•    Family bathroom with bath (plus shower over), basin and WC.


The beautiful kitchen has everything you need for cooking, but if you don’t feel like cooking one night we even have a local company offering freshly prepared meals to order.

Family friendly features can be requested such as a cot, high chair, stair gate and bed guards.  One of the single bedrooms also includes black out blinds to help your little one sleep.

This VisitBritain 4 Star Gold rated cottage promises a relaxing holiday, in surroundings that all the family can enjoy. Decorated to enhance the feeling of relaxation and ease its a home away from home with everything taken care of so all you need to do is unwind.  Sorry no pets permitted.

Discover the Norfolk Broads and Norfolk Coast Nearby

The Norfolk marshes directly surrounding the farm are a great place to walk, cycle or watch wildlife.  There are miles and miles of glorious coastline for you to enjoy in this part of Norfolk. The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth is close by, as is the coastal village of Caister-on-Sea with its own pretty beach. The famous big skies of Norfolk reside over the Norfolk Broads, pretty market towns, the historic city of Norwich and some stunning nature reserves, all just waiting for you to discover them.
