The Holiday Home: About Lavenders
Lavenders is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Norfolk Coast approximately 300 metres from an extensive sandy beach, backed by sand dunes. Holme-next-Sea is 2 miles east of Hunstanton and is totally unspoilt, but has a traditional pub and an internationally renowned bird observatory. Two long distance walking routes meet at Holme, namely the Roman Peddars Way which starts in Thetford Forest and the North Norfolk Coastal Path which runs from nearby Hunstanton to Cromer. The Hunstanton golf course extends to Holme.
Internally, the lounge diner is comprehensively furnished and has a colour digital TV and a DVD/VCR with a selection of videos and DVD's available. There is also a wide selection of books, tourist literature and toys/games. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a fridge freezer, microwave, full sized cooker, washing machine and dishwasher. There is an electric shower, heated towel rail, bath, toilet and hand basin in the recently refurbished bathroom. There are three bedrooms: one double, one small room with full length bunk beds and the other has bunk beds and a single divan bed. There is also a travel cot and travel high chair. The size of the group should not exceed six people. Bed linen and towels are not provided but pillows and duvets are. Heating is by night storage heaters, plus a modern electric fire in the lounge.
Externally, the secluded property is surrounded by lawns and shrubs and all boundaries are fenced. There is a picnic bench on the patio and a barbecue. There is further garden furniture in the new conservatory. Well behaved dogs are permitted by prior agreement with the owner and small shed and dog run are available.
