The Property: About Three Peaks Barn, Yorkshire Dales National Park

6 bedroom stone-built barn conversion with bubbly outdoor hot tub and games room, near the Ribblehead Viaduct


The gorgeous Ribblesdale panorama serves as a backdrop to this splendid, beautifully decorated, reconstructed stone cottage, located on a working farm, in the Hamlet of Chapel-le-Dale, a mere stone's throw from the amazing Ribblehead Viaduct.

A lucky thirteen guests can enjoy these enviable views from the comfort of a smart and welcoming first floor sitting room with warming woodburner. Two of the six lovely bedrooms are also on this floor: 1 x super king-size double (zip/linked) with en-suite shower and 1 x twin, together with a bathroom with bath. The remaining four bedrooms are on the ground floor: 2 x super king-size double (zip/linked), (1 with TV, Freeview and en-suite shower), 2 x twin (1 has wheelchair access and pull-out stacker bed). There is also a bathroom with bath and a wet room with shower on this floor. Completing the accommodation on the ground floor is a small seating area near the smart, modern, fully equipped kitchen with island (dining space for two) that is conveniently placed within close proximity of a lovely airy dining room, set for twelve, with gallery above.

There’s plenty of room for the family to spread out. The extensive gardens are furnished with outdoor seating and a hot tub. The cottage is close to the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, and settled amongst remarkable countryside. It’s an ideal location for fell walking and the inspiring scenery will captivate nature lovers. Three Peaks Barn is a wonderful property in a dramatic landscape.

Stay in or go out there's plenty of fun to be had: 1st floor games room with pool table and Wii or large garden with BBQ and luxurious hot tub.

There is off-road parking for six cars, WIFI and payphone.

No pets, smokers or stag/hen parties. A damage deposit is requested which is refunded in full when the house is left in a good condition. 4pm check-in.

It’s a terrific base for families interested in walking or mountain biking and it’s also an area for potholing. As you tour the countryside, look out for goats that make their home in the local fields.
