Enter Oak Lodge and take in the beautifully designed interiors, thoughtfully put together to provide a relaxing break for all who stay there. The living area boasts cosy seating arrangements, including comfy sofas gathered around the TV; pack your favourite DVDs and enjoy a film together. Don’t forget the movie snacks, prepared in the convenient kitchen area! There’s a dining area behind the sofas, with room for everyone and offering the ideal space for everyone to sit up and enjoy their meal together.  The kitchen is set back, just behind the living area and is a stylish place to cook as a family. Take advantage of all the provided equipment, including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, to whip up something adventurous. Or, stick to basics and utilise the microwave, the ultimate tool for a convenient meal after a long day of making memories! Or, for a proper summer meal, head out to the enclosed patio garden and test out the barbeque.  There is an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy dining alfresco. Outside, you can enjoy the bubbly, warm waters of the hot tub or head over to the shared swimming pool, bookable for private use in advance (the first half an hour use of the pool is free and after that half hour slots are charged at £16).

 

When you’re ready to go to bed, there are two stunning bedrooms on offer, both with luxurious king-sized beds that will certainly make you feel like royalty! Both rooms offer a unique character with wooden walls and beamed ceilings, promising to provide a dreamy night's sleep amongst plush bedding. One of the bedrooms features an en-suite shower room, so you can head straight into the cooling shower as you get ready for a new day! There is also a twin bedroom with doors opening straight onto the gorgeous garden and access to the family bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, as well as two sofa beds suitable for children in the sitting room. 

While Rutland may be small, it doesn’t compromise on beauty or exciting attractions. There’s plenty to keep you entertained all day long on your holiday, from walks around picturesque Greetham as you explore its unique shops and pathways to days out exploring Rutland Water, where you can try your hand at water sports, fishing, birdwatching and cycling. Further out, visit Oakham, with an array of experiences from its museum and 12th-century castle to its well-known restaurants and 14th-century Church. You can even hop on the train and visit Nottingham and Leicester, both offering an exciting day out as thriving cities. Whether you want to explore the fascinating history of the area or do some window shopping, there’s something for everyone during a stay at Oak Lodge!
