Sleeping up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for a large family or a group of friends wanting to visit the Heart of England. If you are looking for somewhere rural and peaceful to stay, then this is the place.

The whole cottage is laid out over one floor meaning that it, and one of the bedrooms that has an en-suite wet room, is wheelchair-friendly. The other two bedrooms include a double room and a twin room and both also have their own en-suites. The open-plan living area complete with original exposed beams and trusses will make you feel completely at home while you can also cook up some fantastic home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy gathering around the table for meals in the dining area before heading to the sitting area and relaxing in front of the wood burner on cold winter nights. Outside there is a private hot tub that simply completes the cottage and is the perfect place to go after a long day exploring what this beautiful part of the country has to offer. If the rain stops you in your traps, however, you can fall back upon the shared games room, which is home to a pool table and air hockey among other attractions.

If you have kids then be sure to take them to nearby Loton Estate's deer park while keen walkers will love the sights along Offa's Dyke Path. Head down the path to Powis Castle if you are interested in the area's rich history and do not miss a day trip to Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. Shrewsbury is the place to go if you are looking for a night out away from the countryside but make sure you take advantage of the many fantastic attractions that are right on your doorstep.
