Laburnum Lodge is the perfect space for up to 6 people, providing everything you could need and welcoming comfortable accommodation. Laburnum has it all, from glorious views over the natural haven of Exmoor to a private and secluded location at the end of Woodcombe lodges. Enjoy the thoughtfully designed interiors and the 3 acres of stunning gardens while you stay, and don’t forget to take advantage of the play area and games room while you’re here!

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, so don’t forget to bring them along!

Accessible Holiday Lodge

This is an M2 rated accessible holiday lodge.  Wheelchair access via a ramp is available at the side of the lodge (next to car parking).  Wide doors open up to the open plan living area.  There is a wheel in the shower room, plus a pull down seat and grab handle. The twin/linked and double bedrooms have space for a wheel chair.

As soon as you step through the doors of Laburnum Lodge, you’re greeted by a fabulously designed living space, complete with a cosy large sofa with space for everyone and an indoor dining table perfect for a quick bite at lunch. You can enjoy the TV and DVD player, or simply gaze out over the veranda and soak in the views of Exmoor. There’s no better way to spend a sunny day than at the veranda, opening out past the sitting area, overlooking the grassy countryside. There’s seating out on the veranda so you can enjoy your morning tea or coffee immersed in nature; it’ll be a perfect start to the day! 

The kitchen is another ideal space which will make cooking for the family a delight, equipped with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezer, toaster and a kettle as well as an array of utensils. And, with an open plan arrangement, you don’t have to worry about missing out on any family fun, as the space is designed with a sociable arrangement in mind!

In the evening, the three bedrooms you can choose between will offer something for everyone. 

The 3 bedrooms comprise of:

•The master bedroom offers versatility, with twin beds that can be linked on request, as well as a lovely ensuite shower wet room with a toilet and shower wheelchair. You can even access the external patio from this room, so you can wake up and refresh yourself under the morning sun. 

•The second bedroom has a cosy double bed, perfect for a dreamy night’s sleep. 

•The third bedroom is a comfortable twin bedroom.

•The main bathroom has a bath, shower, wash hand basin, WC, and a heated towel rail.

Starting with the 3 acres of gardens, you’ll be surrounded by sublime examples of the countryside, the perfect place to reconnect with nature and recharge. There are 12 local walks right from your doorstep, as well as an array of other stunning walks throughout Exmoor national park, The Quantocks and the southwest coast, so you’ll be spoilt for choice if wandering around nature is your thing! Or, hang out in the cosy games room with a table tennis table, pool table and table football. There’s even a lovely children’s play area any little ones will certainly enjoy. In the surrounding areas of Laburnum Lodge, nearby Minehead is well worth a visit, with its unique pubs and shops and stunning beach.
