Nestling below Maesbury Ring, an Iron Age Hill Fort and Mendip Golf Course you will find The Old Milking Parlour, a newly converted building which is surrounded by peaceful open countryside with great views over the Mendips.
Maesbury is a small hamlet located just 5 miles from the centre of Wells (England’s smallest city). You will find this peaceful location an ideal place for relaxing or for touring the West Country, including Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Bath and the Coast. The property being surrounded by hills and footpaths makes it ideally suited for walkers or for those just wanting a rural break.
The Master bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe, hairdryer with ensuite wet room.
The small twin bedroom has two single beds with wardrobe and is ideal for those little lodgers. Both rooms have TV’s and clock radios.
The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size oven, microwave, fridge- freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The lounge has a corner sofa, digital television with DVD/CD player, DAB Radio with iPod docking station and wood burner.
Patio doors from the lounge opens up onto your own garden/patio area with furniture, whilst the lower patio with water feature, barbeque and optional candlelight offers a more relaxed atmosphere for those warm summer evenings. All overlooking the Mendips.
This property is comfortably suited for four people especially familes.
The milking Parlour has its own parking. All the rooms have been furnished to a very high standard throughout.

Wells
Known as the smallest city in England, Wells has plenty to see and do, including Wells Cathedral, The Bishops' Palace (surrounded by its own moat), and Vicar's Close. An open market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays in The Market Place. Wells has all modrn conveniences, charm and some interesting shops, with plenty of resturants and pubs for eating out.
Wells is also host to one of the best illuminated carnivals, and is held in November.
Wells is located just outside of the Mendip Hills AONB and nearby you can visit Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Caves and Glastonbury, famous for the Glastonbury Festival held in June, and with Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and Longleat not too far away either you will find The Old Milking Parlour an ideal base for the West Country.
