How does the idea of a holiday in the Peak District sound to you? We have a fantastic four bedroom semi detached barn for a holiday in a remote stunning location. The stone barn is attached to Hill House and as its name suggests, the property is perched in an elevated position above the surrounding fields and moorland. This welcoming holiday home boasts the most stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

This self-catering barn features stylish and welcoming accommodation and sleeps up to eight people in its four bedrooms.

The living area is open plan and ideal for sociable living on holiday. The large vaulted room has metal rafters painted black which match the worktops in the kitchen and the black leather sofa. An enormous l-shaped sofa stands adjacent to leather one so that both share a coffee table, and there is a TV for watching films and your favourite tv shows.  A gas log burner helps to create a cosy atmosphere.

A big modern oak dining table separates the sitting area from the kitchen. The kitchen units wrap around at the end of the room providing plenty of space for preparing and cooking a meal for eight people. Find holiday living effortless with the essential appliances such as a dishwasher, freezer in addition to a refrigerator and washing machine with tumble dryer.

The property has air source underfloor heating plus a gas fire to keep you cosy and warm.  WiFi is present to allow all guests to keep up with their social media on holiday.  

The four bedrooms are of generous proportions and comprise of:

•    Two bedrooms with super king beds (can be converted to twin beds if requested),

•    Two bedrooms with king-size bedsand an en-suite shower room,

A separate family bathroom equipped with a bath and overhead shower completes the accommodation.

The property will be ready for your arrival, all beds made up and towels provided.

Outside is an enclosed patio area where guests could have a barbecue. This holiday barn is pet-friendly and two dogs are permitted. This is a particularly good place for holidaymakers with dogs to stay as there is an enclosed field accessible from the property.

As this holiday rental is fairly remote, the mobile signal can be weak.

Situated on the southwest side of the Peak District, there is much to discover and enjoy in addition to unspoilt countryside. Find the Peak Wildlife Park a short drive away, also an equestrian centre for a spot of pony trekking.  This part of the National park is home to various pretty villages and oodles of history. Visit Thor’s Cave, Wetton Mill, the charming village of Hartington with its duck pond and famous cheese shop. Try the various cycle trails for safe off-road bicycle rides. Stop at tea shops and pubs en-route to replenish your energy.
