The country cottages shown on this list are among the very best in the UK, all have a hugely popular hot tub or spa in the garden that gives you a chance to soak away the pain of sore feet after long walks in the countryside with your dog. They also cater for people with pets so that you can count on a hearty welcome for your family and dog.

The thought of a hot tub or warm bath for dogs would also be nice, however, as far as we know, they do not yet exist. Perhaps some time in the future, guests booking dog-friendly cottages may be able to relax in their swirling waters alongside their best friend. In the meantime, holidaymakers with dogs will have to be satisfied with lying back in their hot tub, enjoying the views whilst their faithful friends sits alongside.
