This cosy holiday home is ideal for a couple looking to enjoy a romantic break close to Largs, from which they can discover some of the best of Ayrshire.

The accommodation comprises:

• A lounge with a velvet sofa, an easy chair, a TV and a table with four chairs. This room is very nicely decorated in shades of navy and white, and could be the ideal spot to cosy up with the one you love,

• A beautiful long galley kitchen with plenty of cupboards and all the essential appliances that you would need for a self-catering break. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and also a washing machine,

• Upstairs is a romantic bedroom with a double bed,
   
• A shower room on the ground floor has a shower cubicle, a wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.

The cottage is centrally heated by gas and you will also find a cosy gas effect wood burner in the living room. Wi-Fi enables you to keep in touch with friends and family and to stream movies from the web.

Outside is a patio area where a table and two chairs stand. One dog is welcome so feel free to bring your pet pooch on holiday with you. Very tall people may like to note that the ceilings in this property are a little low in places, in keeping with the age and character of the property.

Visit the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and brightly painted Kelburn Castle in Fairlie and enjoy day trips out to the nearby seaside town of Largs with its selection of shops, eateries, beach and Victorian promenade.  Glenburn Fishery is well worth a visit should you like the idea of a day out trying to catch a ‘fishie for your dishie’. A little drive up the coast from Fairlie will take you to Skelmorlie and the ferry to the Isle of Bute. This could be a brilliant holiday if you research places that you would like to visit in advance and come prepared for the four seasons that are common in Scotland - sometimes during the course of one day.  Glasgow is always a wonderful city to visit; very strong in terms of art and good restaurants.
