Wonderfully positioned on the shores of Loch Greshornish on Skye, Greshornish Boathouse is a comfortable first floor apartment above a boathouse. The property sleeps 2 people in comfort and has one double bedroom, a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting room with a dining area and great views out over the loch. One well-behaved dog is welcome to accompany you. There is a parking space for 1 car. Skye offers magnificent scenery, excellent walking and a wide variety of wildlife. The spectacular coastline demands exploration, while sites like Dunvegan Castle and the town of Portree provide great day trips. Greshornish Boathouse is a superb base for this mystical island.
Electric storage heaters throughout with additional heating from wall-mounted electric panel heater and woodburning stove in the sitting room. Kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, portable TV. Electricity and starter pack for woodburning stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 1 car. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Hotel with restaurant 5 minutes' walk (seasonal, check opening times, booking essential). Pub and shop 4.5 miles. The Isle of Skye is considered by some to be an amazing place to visit, the island has been voted the 4th best island in the world to visit by the National Geographic Magazine. With stunning scenery including beaches, cliffs, sea lochs, stone circles and the mountainous Cuillin Hills there is much to see and be inspired by on the Isle of Skye. If you want more adventure you can always take one of the boat trips to the Isle of Rum and see this small island in this Inner Hebrides. The Isle of Rum is a designated nature reserve, cared for by Scottish Natural Heritage where you can see red deer, eagles and Rum ponies. The place is also a special protection site for birds.
