The Green in Derbyshire - sleeps up to 18, and party, party, party

Modern country house in Derbyshire accommodating up to 18 people in 7 bedrooms. With 7 bedrooms, this house could be an excellent choice for large groups. Large Country House for groups of up to 38, Lyme Regis - Dorset

This country house in Dorset specialises in group accommodation. Whether you are looking for a house for a special birthday celebration, anniversary party, corporate event or some other occasion, this house near the Jurassic Coast should have plenty to tempt you.

The house can sleep an impressive total of 38 in 18 bedrooms and there are 15 bathrooms. The dining room table is usually set for 24 but extra tables can be added as required. In total up to 38 can be seated in the dining area.

For guests to relax and unwind, there are two lounges. There is also a large open area next to the dining room with an open fire, which can be a great space for parties. There is also a games room with a pool table and table tennis, great for fun times! The house is surrounded by a private and secure south facing garden at the back of the property.

This house is open all year round and can be booked for weekly lets, for short breaks and even for weekend bookings.

Large Old Rectory on the south coast in Dorset to accommodate groups of up to 26

The Old Rectory is a large country house in Dorset with spacious rooms, ideal for large groups. As suggested by the name, this impressive country home was originally a rectory and dates back to the 18th century. This house is an impressive setting for special parties or celebrations. Accommodating up to 26 in 11 bedrooms, this property has 6 bathrooms and a total of 4 reception rooms.

The accommodation here is comfortable and relaxed, ideal for parties! The décor is almost shabby chic and understated. Previous guests here include Mick Jagger so this could definitely be the house for parties. For special celebrations such as wedding receptions do get in touch with the owners, it is sometimes possible for marquees to be booked and put up in the grounds.

Granary Court in the Peak District - another Party Palace

Granary Court in Derbyshire with its flexible range of accommodation can be a good choice for groups. This venue specialises in corporate events, family celebrations and parties. This barn conversion has 8 bedrooms and an additional 3 bedrooms in an additional small barn. In total up to 26 can be accommodated in 11 bedrooms. There are 4 lounges so there is plenty of communal living space. The accommodation is arranged in to 4 cottage style apartments at Granary Court.

There is a 7 seater hot tub which can be just wonderful for relaxing after a good party. Hen parties and stag parties are welcome. For hints and tips on local attractions and activities, get in touch with the owners who can help advise you. From paintballing to horse-riding, do ask the owners for their local knowledge and recommendations. One great feature at Granary Court for groups is the Garden Room which can seat a total of 45 people. There is also a well sized garden plus a games room.

In terms of exploring the surrounding area, Derbyshire is of course known for the Peak District. Also not too far away is Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Park for those who want fun, fun, fun!

Eskmeals House - Large group accommodation for parties, Lake District. Sleeps 21

Courtyard Barn is a large 8 bedroom house specialising in party weekends, sleeps up to 20

Large self-catering barn conversion in England’s Peak District, sleeping up to 20 people in 8 bedrooms. With its 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this large house could be an excellent place for large groups or big family getaways. There is also a dining room to seat up to 20.

There are plenty of facilities here to keep large groups entertained including an outdoor hot tub, Sky TV including Sports and Movies plus a large Games/Events Room. In the games room there is table tennis and table football. There are also iPod Speakers, disco lights and a dance-floor in the Games/Events Room. With all these facilities there are plenty of opportunities for partying at this large house. Hen parties and stag parties are welcome at this party pad.

If you fancy the idea of getting out and about whilst staying here and exploring the Peak District, activities that you can enjoy nearby include golf, clay pigeon shooting, go karting and Go Ape. Buxton and Sheffield are also not too far away and are known for their lively nightlife. There is also a local pub just a few minutes walk away from the property.

The house is fully smoke-free and no smoking is permitted within the property. There are extensive gardens outside of the property though where you can smoke outdoors. The house is also pet-free.

Large country house/mansion in Dorset for birthday parties and special events

Symondsbury Manor is a delightfully relaxed setting for a wedding reception or birthday house party in a beautiful manor house on the world renowned Dorset jurassic coast.

Sleeping 23, the Manor is set in its own grounds in the lovely village of Symondsbury. For the last fifteen years the Manor has been hosting weekend wedding parties and brthday parties and is now so well recommended that the majority of its bookings are from past guests. Peter Hitchin, the owner is also the propietor of the Electric Palace theatre/cinema in nearby Bridport which has become known in the national press as " Notting Hill by sea" and consequently Symondsbury Manor has become a favourite of numerous visiting celebrities.
