Cheap accommodation for large groups
We receive numerous requests for cheap large group accommodation, especially from walking groups and for reunions. Most of our self-catering properties are cottages, pine lodges, houses and apartments that cannot deal with the large numbers involved.

However, the following accommodation is suited to large groups and economically priced. Prices vary according to each property, do please check the price range and contact owners directly for availability.

 Plas Glansevin Mansion is a Georgian listed building set in 10 acres of grounds, 3 hours from Heathrow yet in one of the most beautiful parts of the country – the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. The mansion has been carefully renovated, sleeping 34/39 with most bedrooms en suite. It’s a building of great character, ideal for large groups with something to celebrate. The swimming pool, sauna and putting green complement the historical features, and all around are castles and waterfalls, inspirational walks in the mountains – Wales at its very best.
The Coach House accommodates 17 (due to lounge and dining room space) but it has 23 beds and we allow up to 23 with no extra charge. It is 50 yards from the mansion and can be rented on its own or with the mansion to extend the number of bedrooms so that capacity is 62 for both properties and is eminently suitable for large groups.

 Milden Hall Cartlodge near Lavenham (3 miles) in Suffolk is an interesting ancient building with a variable amount of accommodation, sleeping either 4, 6, or more up to 28 in four poster beds in the barn.
Historically important, Milden Hall Cartlodge is in the heart of an environmentally-friendly farm where you can explore the local hedged countryside using our planned circular walks and bike rides (short and long!). Children can feed bantams, families can entertain themselves using the environmental activity pack, golfers can play nearby, artists have a multitude of on or off-farm peaceful locations and historians can explore the farm’s castle earthworks and small museum.

 Detached and set on the hillside in the heart of the Royal Forest of Dean, the Grade II cottage is a wonderful retreat surrounded by mature gardens on various levels from which to absorb the glorious views which are far reaching and take in the River Severn.
Harmony Cottage sleeps 9 and offers much warmth, charm and character with inglenook fireplaces, beams and flagstone floors at different levels.
