Gorran Haven is a small former fishing village 3 miles south west of Mevagissey and offers a choice of two safe beaches, ideal for young children to play on. As a former fishing village, there are lots of fishermens' cottages divided by narrow lanes and a small harbour where people fish.

Cliffs rise up at either side of the beach and offer excellent sea views if you walk in either direction away from Gorran Haven. Lots of places to visit for a day trip including St Austell, the Eden Project and Mevagissey.
