Rent a self catering cottage near Sennen and Sennen Bay near Land's End in south Cornwall. There is a lovely sweep of sandy beach in a bay, the sort that takes your breath away. It is an ideal spot for quiet family seaside holidays in south Cornwall. Picnic tables overlook the beach. There are wildlife tours that you can join to see this south westerly part of England with an experienced guide.
Walk from Sennen Cove following the coastal path to Land's End. The new visitor centre provides amenities and things for tourists to do and look at. Take a short drive from Sennen towards St Ives to see the ruins of tin mining, some of which are now visitor centres.
