The Scottish border town of Peebles lies on the A72 at the junction of the River Tweed and Eddleston Water. It's a pleasant and green town to live in for people who work in the City of Edinburgh 22 miles away. Surrounded by gently inclined fields and woodland, there are river and woodland walks.
