This incredible 11th century castle is open to the public for tours of its grounds and interior, where you will be guided through the incredible Great Hall, panel room, gallery and many more rooms, and see this magnificent and historical castle which Charles Dickens would regularly visit in the 1850s. The 18 acres of garden with its beautiful statues, flowers and hedges, is also wonderful to stroll through, and to round off your visit here, there is a delightful tea room and a gift shop.
