This beautiful couple's cottage is set on a farm in the village of Heage in Derbyshire and enjoys tranquil country views.

Sleeping just two, this barn conversion with its vaulted ceilings and wooden beams offers plenty of rural charm.  The open plan living and kitchen area features a vaulted ceiling with oak beams and spotlighting. A curved leather sofa is positioned for the best view of the wall mounted television. The kitchen is arranged along the wall behind and consists of a smart collection of units complete with electric oven and induction hob built in, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and numerous cupboards that store all the implements that any one self-catering on holiday in Derbyshire might need.

The luxurious bathroom, with marble effect tiles, has a large walk-in shower cubicle wash basin and a WC. A king size bedroom is perfect for a romantic couple, and features a second smart television for a little relaxed viewing.

The property has an air source heat pump for under floor heating which some people absolutely love because it means that even if you walk barefoot you have warm toes.

Outside, you can really enjoy this beautiful rural location.  There is a paved courtyard garden to the front and very pretty views of the countryside. A barbecue and garden furniture stand in the front garden and offer the opportunity to grill a few sausages and enjoy eating outdoors in summer time.

The village of Heage has a convenience store, a couple of Inns where you can dine out and a historic windmill that might be worth a look. The nearest big town is Belper to the South which may be useful to you if you like to browse local shops and spend time shopping. The Peak District National Park is a short drive away along the A6 and its delights speak for themselves. Bear Cottage is a very nice place for a couple to stay, especially those who want to escape to the tranquillity of the countryside. There is parking beside the property.
