With charm and character, Primrose Cottage is a lovely place to holiday, in a tranquil rural location close to the River Taw, and the peaceful villages of Kings Nympton and Chulmleigh in North Devon.  With 2 bedrooms, this charming holiday home sleeps up to 4 people.

To keep you entertained, WiFi internet access is available, as is an iPod dock and a choice of books, games and DVDs. Outside there is a private garden complete with patio area, outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ so you can make the most of outdoor living in summertime and soak up the tranquil setting.

Discover Dartmoor National Park and the North Devon Coast on Holiday

There are good walks close by.  On days out, get out and explore to take in Devon's clean air, exploring the wide-ranging landscapes of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks.

For those who want to combine coast and countryside on holiday, the seaside is around 45 minutes’ drive for enjoyable days out.  The beach at Westward Ho! Is around 26 miles away, and Saunton Sands is 25 miles away.

Recommended places to visit for days out include Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, excellent for walking, cycling and wildlife walking. The nationally important beautiful RHS Rosemoor Garden in Great Torrington also makes for a great day out. Immerse yourself in British history delving amongst the treasures of the National Trust's Castle Drogo, the last castle to be built in the UK. Closer to home relax watching otters on the River Taw. More sights and sound of wildlife can be found on the estate of Arlington Court, a regency house and home to the National Trust's Carriage Museum. Return home to relax in the comfy well equipped open plan living space or over a BBQ on the patio.
