Set within Alderholt Mill, a pretty watermill with the river flowing gently by, this lovely romantic retreat for two enjoys an excellent location just outside of the New Forest National Park and the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is just half an hour's drive from the coast and the seaside resort of Bournemouth. 

With exposed wooden beams, this is a charming cosy ground floor holiday retreat where you can relax and unwind with the one you love.    The lounge with its warming electric woodburner is ideal for kicking back and relaxing, cook a romantic meal in the beautifully fitted kitchen/breakfast room and enjoy getting a good night’s slep in the romantic double bedroom (complete with en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower over). 


Relax by the Riverside

Outside there is a lovely large garden where you can sit out and make the most of this beautiful location, as well as a BBQ for dining al fresco in summer time.  Love to fish?  Private fishing is possible, ask the owners for details when booking.

Relax and unwind in this tranquil unspoilt location, Alderholt Mill enjoys an idyllic setting on a small island nestled by beautiful gardens by the River Allen.  There is a small B&B at Alderholt Mill, as well as one other self-catering property.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Sorry no children aged below 8 due to the proximity of the river.
