The Holiday Home: About Branscombe Holiday Cottage at Old Higher Lighthouse

Perfect for those who love to stay by the seaside, this Grade II listed holiday cottage in Portland benefits from a fantastic setting on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. Perched close to the cliff edge, just 40 feet from Old Higher Lighthouse, this holiday cottage has to be one of the best sited holiday cottages in the UK and has access to some wonderful shared leisure facilities which include an outdoor heated swimming pool (for use in summer months) and a Jacuzzi.

The accommodation at this cottage is arranged in an upside-down style with the spacious lounge and dining room on the first floor to make the most of the fabulous views. The first floor features fantastic panoramic views, sit and enjoy clear sea views whilst enjoying a stay here. On the ground floor are the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, as well as the family bathroom and kitchen.

Outside there is a lawned area complete with patio and garden furniture for sitting out and enjoying the magnificent Dorset coast.

Please note that no children aged 5 or below are permitted here due to the location close to the cliff edge.
