Discover Coastal Sussex on a Cottage Break
Seaview Cottage is situated between Eastbourne and Bexhill so you won’t be short of places to visit and things to see during your trip. The beach at Norman Bay is perfect for a romantic stroll by the sea and offers great views that stretch out to Beachy Head. For cyclers, walkers and birdwatchers, the nearby Pevensey Levels is a must. Pevensey is also home to the historic Pevensey Castle and this structure is just 30 minutes from Battle and Hastings so you can get your fix of history during your stay. If that’s not enough history for you then be sure to try some excellent home cooked food at The Star Inn, like many other places in the area the Inn has a rich history and was once a haven for smugglers in the area. There are other great alternative eateries in the nearby area, including the excellent quayside restaurants and cafes found along the Sovereign Harbour. The railway found in Normans Bay means that you can easily access those towns, villages and cities found slightly further afield, such as Hastings (10 miles) and Brighton (20 miles).
