Escape to this picture perfect 3 bedroom thatched holiday cottage, nestled on the outskirts of Lyndhurst, close to the heart of the beautiful New Forest National Park.  With 3 bedrooms and lots of charm and character, this is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay.  The property enjoys an idyllic setting in Emery Down, with good forest walks from the doorstep and lovely views over Swan Green, where you can see ponies and deer graze.  This is a tranquil and peaceful setting, from which you can discover some of the best of the New Forest.  Lyndhurst with its shops and restaurants is just 5 minutes’ walk away.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Grade II listed and with original beams throughout, this cottage oozes charm and character, and has been lovingly converted in to a welcoming holiday home where you can relax and unwind with friends and family.  With both a lounge and a TV room, there is plenty spacious living space to enjoy at Swan Green Cottage.

On the Ground Floor:

• Beautiful spacious living room with original beams, comfy sofas, warming inglenook fireplace and dining area with oak table,

• Well equipped kitchen,

• TV room with double sofa bed,

• Family bathroom with bath (shower over), basin and WC,

• Spacious shower room with handbasin, bidet and WC.

Upstairs:  

Two staircases lead to 3 good-sized bedrooms (all with quaint sloping roofs) with individual access.  A child gate can be fitted to one staircase if required. The bedrooms comprise of:

• A master bedroom with a double bed,

• A second double bedroom,

• A twin bedroom.

Outside, there is a garden to the front, as well as a large enclosed garden to the rear of the property.  Sit out and enjoy this idyllic setting close to the heart of the New Forest.  The rear garden is enclosed, making it ideal for children to play safely, and ideal for pets too.  Good walks from the doorstep in to the forest.

Coffee and specialist teas are provided for guests as well as all linen and cleaning products.  Free Wifi is provided.

This could be a superb base from which to discover some of the best of the New Forest.  The New Forest is an idyllic place to enjoy walking, cycling (there are traffic free routes in places) and wildlife watching.  Other attractions to discover include Beaulieu's world famous National Motor Museum, Paulton Amusement Park with Pepper Pig World, Longdale Farm, and the elegant seaside town of Lymington.
