This medieval manor house is located on the High Weald above the border between Kent and Sussex and sleeps up to 26 people in 7 luxurious bedrooms. The perfect place to host a large family gathering or a birthday celebration for someone close to you, the house has a grand feel about it and, even though it has been extensively refurbished, still retains a lot of its original charm and character.

The house is set over three floors and features a fitted kitchen that is a dream for any budding chef, as it includes a range cooker and all of the modern appliances you would expect from such a property. Cook up some fantastic meals and then enjoy a lovely formal dinner in the delightful dining room, which seats up to 20 people. After dinner you can then move on to the sitting room complete with open fire, perfect for relaxing in during those cold winter nights. There is also a snug o the second floor and seating areas throughout the house so you will not have to worry about being cramped while staying at this stunning manor house. If the weather is nice then you also have the option of relaxing out on the terrace while the tennis court outside is perfect for those more active amongst us. However, fear not if the weather threatens to ruin your stay, as the house’s library and games room is sure to keep guests of all ages entertained no matter the weather.

Keen golfers will be happy to hear that there are several world-class golf courses located nearby to the house. Those more interested in history should make sure that they don't miss a visit to Hever Castle, the ancestral home of Anne Boleyn, or Chiddingstone Castle, a lovely 19th century building that is open to the public. At the end of a long day of discovering what the surrounding areas have to offer you can rest in the knowledge that you have a fabulous manor house to return to.
