The cottage's three bedrooms include two king-size double rooms, one of which has its own en-suite, and a twin room, giving you plenty of flexibility. There is also an additional bathroom, which means that there will be no long queues for the shower each morning. Guests can cook up and enjoy some fantastic grub in the well-equipped kitchen and dining area before then retiring to the cosy sitting area for a night spent in front of the wood burner. Outside there is a lovely patio suntrap garden, perfect for relaxing while looking out into the woodland and seeing what wildlife you can spot.

The owner's working farm is just a short walk from the cottage and is the perfect place to go walking or cycling. Those who want to venture a bit further out should get themselves down to St Cuthbert's Cave, a place that is sure to excite both the kids and the adults. Drive to the coast, spend a day visiting nearby castles or simply go exploring in the surrounding woodlands while staying at this enchanting Northumbria cottage.
