To the rear of the property there is a private enclosed garden with lawn, ideal for children to play safely and for dogs to get some fresh air. To the front there are shared enclosed gardens laid to lawn. WiFi internet access is available along with TV with Freeview.

Pull on your walking boots for an enjoyable day out exploring the lovely Cheviot Hills observing dippers and otters or visit Housestead, one of the forts in best shape along Hadrian's Wall. Take a trip to Farne Island to watch 23 species of seabirds and a colony of grey seals. Closer to home there's fun to be had at the Wild Cattle Park. Alnwick Castle of Hogwarts’ fame will prove irresistible to Harry Potter fans, whilst gardeners will not be able to resist a day at the fantastic Alnwick Gardens which feature super water cascades, waterfalls plus much more. Landscape gardening doesn't come better than Victorian inventor, Lord Armstrong's amazing garden at the National Trust's Cragside (the first house to be powered by hydroelectricity).
