Woodbridge is a Suffolk market town, found by the River Deben.  Within the town there are a number of elegant historical buildings along with some colourfully painted cottages.  Located within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Woodbridge could be an excellent base for discovering some of the best of Suffolk.  Ipswich is just 8 miles away from the town and Aldeburgh 18 miles. 

Within Woodbridge itself there are some lovely boutique shops as well as independent shops, pubs and restaurants.  The town also benefits from a riverside location.  For waterside walks and relaxing by the river head down to the Woodbridge Tide Mill museum.  This working tide mill is now an interesting museum where you can learn more about the history of the mill and explore this fascinating building.  Also down by the water is the Waterfront Café which sells a variety of fine food and wine.
