Stanley Baldwin PM was born in Bewdley which is part of the walk. There are 3 car parks in the town and plenty of places to eat and drink. The Tourist information centre is situated in the Museum entrance.

The Severn Valley Railway is situated over its historic bridge and you can take rides on the restored steam trains to Bridgenorth, Arley and Kidderminster. They have lots of special events throughout the year. On the edge of the town there is The West Midland Safari Park which is a fantastic day out for young and old alike and is now open all year. Wyre Forest and its visitor centre provide lots of interesting things to do throughout the year as well as wonderful walking and cycling. New for 2009 is Go Ape where you can climb through the trees and hurtle down zip lines.
