 Croyde is a seaside village with a number of pretty thatched country cottages in North Devon with a number of attractive sandy beaches nearby. For self catering holidays Croyde attracts surfers, along with couples and families looking to spend some time by the sea. Croyde Bay is the main sandy beach at Croyde. Croyde beach is a recognised blue flag beach. Other beaches nearby include Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe.Croyde also attracts a number of keen walkers and is somewhat of a hot spot for surfers. The beach although beautiful can get quite windy, so bringing along windbreakers and kites is recommended.
