Matlock is a fabulous location for a Derbyshire holiday. Renting a holiday cottage that has its own swimming pool or access to a shared one can add so much to the success of a holiday. Entertaining a group of guests or children is so much easier if there is a private pool to swim and play in. It can also be very nice to lounge beside and read a book if it is decorated with plants and looks out onto a garden. There is a public swimming pool in a leisure centre in Matlock if you cannot find a suitable property near the town centre although it is so much more convenient to get changed into a swimming costume and walk across a house to the pool.
