With a reverse-level layout, the living accommodation is on the top floor of this welcoming holiday home to maximise on the views.  The open-plan living room is the perfect base for relaxing on holiday, where you can take advantage of everything from a smart TV to relax in front of, to the well-equipped kitchen to prepare your favourite meals. There’s even an opening out onto a balcony to enjoy stunning natural landscapes. 

Outside, enjoy the enclosed garden, an enchanting area to gather with all the family in the evenings. Watch the sunset as you relax on garden furniture, kept warm by the woodburning stove. It will be a dreamy end to a perfect day of holidaying!

Enter into this spacious holiday lodge and enjoy the contemporary, open plan living area. In the bright mornings, sit around the welcoming dining area with your family with a cup of coffee and some breakfast prepared in the well-equipped kitchen (complete with an oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave). For a chilled evening in, move over to the comfy sofas and browse the smart TV to find the perfect film. And with plenty of natural light, you might even catch the sunset over the balcony. 

At night, a choice between three bedrooms (all with TVs!) will ensure all of the family enjoy a good night’s sleep. 

There are three ground floor bedrooms, all furnished with modern and elegant interiors;

• One double bedroom,

• On twin bedroom,. 

• A bedroom with a king sized bed, as well as an ensuite with a soothing waterfall shower, basin and a WC. 

• The ground floor bathroom also offers a warm, restful bath, and with an additional bathroom on the first floor, there’s no need to sacrifice convenience for comfort. 

Don’t forget to enjoy the magical outdoor garden and the wood burning stove to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars.

The garden at this property is a real treat; it’s a smart multi-tiered gravelled outdoor space which includes a large wooden gazebo with bench seating and fairy lights where you can sit out and enjoy a drink in the evening.  This gazebo also houses an outdoor seating area with BBQ, and a warming woodburner so you can enjoy alfresco living whatever the weather or time of year.

Explore the quaint town of Ellon and its scenic riverside walks along the River Ythan, the perfect place to watch for wildlife and natural wonders. Or, visit Haddo Country Park and explore the grand Victorian home and all the fascinating history that accompanies it. For a family day out, why not take the drive up to Codona’s Amusement Park or The Den and Glen Park? Both are the perfect location to take the kids for a day they’re never forget! If you fancy a day out by the beach, then travel to the nearby village of Cruden Bay with its long stretch of golden sands.  Also at Cruden Bay are the ruins of Slains Castle – rumoured to have inspired Bram Stoker in his writing of Dracula.  The city of Aberdeen is only 15 miles from Ellon and offers a range of restaurants, shops, galleries and museums, as well as a sandy beach of its own.  Whatever you like to do on holiday, there are lots of great places to discover, from your base at Larchwood Lodge!
