The lounge is cosy and appealing with its sofa, chairs, electric fire and dining table and the kitchen is modern and equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There are four comfortable bedrooms; one double bedroom on the ground floor, another double bedroom, one twin bedroom with TV and a single bedroom. There is a family bathroom with bath (shower over) and WC and on the ground floor a shower room with WC. One well-behaved pet dog is welcome here.

To the rear of the property there is a pleasant garden, complete with patio area with garden furniture and picnic bench plus a lawned area.

The village of Gatehouse of Fleet offers visitors plenty of facilities including shops and pubs. The village is also home to Cardoness Castle which dates back to the 15th century and Robert Burns is said to have written one of his famous poems in the village. Days out can be enjoyed in the nearby Galloway Forest Park where you can enjoy walking, wildlife watching or mountain biking. The coast is also within easy reach so more great days out await discovering the pretty fishing villages and beaches along the Dumfries and Galloway coast.
