Pet-friendly, one well behaved pet dog is welcome (although dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms).

The historic town of Dumfries with its shops, bars and restaurants is around 26 miles away.  Also around 30 miles away is Galloway Forest Park where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.
