11 Bedroom Pet-Friendly Country House near Perth

Ideal for groups, Dungarthill House is a unique, Victorian holiday home, with a long driveway, set in 28 acres of beautiful countryside, around half an hour’s drive from Perth.

This large house sleeps up to 21 people, so is an excellent choice if you've got a major family/group celebration coming up. It is beautifully furnished with vintage items, in a style that accurately matches its hunting lodge heritage.

The kitchen has a four oven AGA ideal for preparing a meal for a big celebration, and there is also an electric oven and hob, plus microwave if you need them. Store provisions in one of two integrated fridges and chest freezer. Two dishwashers means no need to draw straws for washing up.  There is also a utility room with 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers, and a pantry.

The magnificent formal dining room will ensure your gathering is unforgettable. After your celebratory meal some guests can retire to the sitting room for coffee whilst others can opt for billiards in the games room or TV room with 65” Smart TV and Soundbar.

There is a second less formal dining room.

There are 11 bedrooms which sleep a total of 21 people:

•    2 bedrooms, each with a super-king size bed (two single bed bases with super-king duvet),

•    2 bedrooms with a king-size bed with freestanding bath and en-suite shower room,

•    1 bedroom with a king-size bed,

•    1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom,

•    1 family bedroom with a double bed and adjoining door to further twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, walk-in shower, basin and loo,

•    1 family bedroom with a double bed and single bed,

•    2 twin bedrooms.

There is also a family bathroom with bath, basin and WC, as well as a shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC, and a ground floor loo.

For adventure visit the Hermitage and try white water rafting, quad biking and for the very brave bungee jumping. You must visit the beautiful Tay Forest Park and further afield, Cairngorms National Park.

Plenty of off-road parking. Two well-behaved pets. No smoking. Starter pack for woodburning stoves, linen & towels including in rent.
