There are two country cottages at Bluegate Farm, each sleeping up to 6.With countryside views and features such as exposed wooden beams, these farm cottages have plenty to recommend them. These are pretty cottages with private gardens and benefit by having an excellent location close to Leighton Buzzard, less than an hour’s drive from London. Sports to enjoy close by include walking and the adventurous can even enjoy a spot of hang gliding at nearby Ivinghoe Beacon.
A stay here could be a great choice for families. Visit Whipsnade Animal Park just 10 minutes drive away. Also close by is Ivinghoe Beacon, a local beauty spot and part of the Chiltern Hills. Also easily accessible nearby is the National Trust’s Ashridge Forest where spotting wildlife such as squirrels and deer can almost be guaranteed. Another great day out is to be had at Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey are also within easy reach by car.

Two luxurious self-catering holiday cottages situated at the entrance to the Langdale Valley in the unspoiled village of Elterwater in the Lake District. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and sleeps up to 10 + cot. There are 3 colour TVs and video, Sky Sports and Film channels. The large kitchen has an oven, hobs, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, and a drying cabinet.
Built of slate and stone, it is an exceptional house, which has been completely renovated and beautifully furnished and has fine views towards the beck and the fells. All you need to do is to walk out of the door for walks to begin.
